The Buckingham Active Seniors is a group of individuals, ages 60 and up, who come together to share common interest and explore new ones. Members meet on the second Tuesday of each month for an informative program/guest speaker, program meeting, refreshments, and game and social time.

To create diverse opportunities and experiences in order to provide social, cultural and physical growth within the entire community.

The Center offers a consolidated program of activities including social activities, and recreation programs for area seniors at the Senior Center located in the Community Center. Some activities include walking trips, bowling, movies and other outings .The Senior Center welcomes residents and non-residents age 50 years and older.

Provides arts activities, experience and programs to people who live in institutions or are otherwise isolated from society. Artists and performers go to the institution or facility to provide services on site. Offers a place where students in grades 6-12 can come to play music, take lessons, and make recordings. Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Go Go are all popular. The goal is to keep kids out of trouble while helping them to discover and develop their music abilities. provides music lessons: guitar, keyboard, drums, etc.; provides use of rehearsal studios including a P.A. system; provides use of electronic music studios including samplers & drum machines; music classes; song writing, music production, etc.; Houses an extensive music library including CD's, tapes, videos, etc.; provides use of recording studios.

Provides a Silver Citizen Club sponsored by Culpeper County. Membership includes: social events, bridge, cards,trips and speakers. Club meets every Wednesday from 10AM - 2PM. Special Note: At the Wednesday meetings, members bring a covered dish to share for lunch. We look forward to seeing you!
