Camp Hope Haven offers an overnight summer camp for children from across Hampton Roads, many of them from the inner city. Activities include swimming, horseback riding, sports, games, arts and crafts, and Bible study. A gymnasium provides an outlet for fun and excitement on rainy days. Donor-funded CHH sponsorships often cover all the costs for low-income families that cannot afford to send their children to camp.

Camp Kesem operates free summer camps for children who have been impacted by a parent's cancer. Licensed Child Day Center: Day Camp and Before & After School Care

A week-long day camp programs for children. Campers learn more about their connection to plants through arts, crafts and garden exploration.

Promotes the creation of social, recreational, and vocational programs designed to meet needs of individuals with autism. Currently, activities offered include monthly socials, a day camp over spring break, and Camp Gonnawannagoagain, a summer day camp experience for children and teens with autism.

Offers tent and cabin camping sites for individuals, families and groups, with and without utility hook-ups, showers, kitchen and restroom facilities, swimming pool. Most require advance permit. Camping is limited to 14 days per year per individual.

Camp Youngblood is a weeklong summer camp for kids ages 7-17 that takes place at Camp Holiday Trails in Charlottesville, VA, usually in July.
