Southwest Virginia Child Development Clinic offers a multi-disciplinary team approach for the evaluation of children and youth from birth to 21 years, suspected of having developmental delays and/or disabilities from our twelve county, three city area. The process involves testing, assessing, and making a diagnosis. We will make referrals and recommendations as needed to address the needs of our children and their families. Field clinics are conducted on a limited basis within the region. Diagnostic Evaluations are performed for the following: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, Developmental delays, Mental Retardation, Behavioral/Emotional Disorders, Learning Problems, and other developmental disorders or disabilities.

Care Connection for Children - Charlottesville, Blue Ridge, Virginia Department of Health

Blue Ridge Care Connection for Children serves children from birth to the age of twenty-one with special health care needs. Maintains a database of regional and local resources for children with special health care needs. Financial assistance may be available to assist with specialty medical care, funds are available, if income and medical criteria are met. Our educational consultant support the child and families with educational needs and facilitates relationships with the child's school.
