Provides a state operated program at CHKD which is supervised by the Virginia Department of Education. Hospital Schoool Program offers educational services that cover inpatient status, transition to home or school, and maintenance and follow-up care through outpatient clinics. Our staff consists of administrators, support staff, teachers, educational consultants, an assistive technology specialist, art therapist and a music therapist.
