Students referred to the alternative school will continue their academic classes using NovaNet. NovaNet is a computerized, web-based curriculum that meets the Virginia Standards of Learning. The Secondary GED preparation program is an option for students 18 years of age and younger who require a nontraditional program because they are academically at-risk and/or a potential dropout. This program is designed to provide students with the academic knowledge necessary to pass the GED test.
