Transportation - Culpeper, Mobility Center, Encompass Community Supports

Mobility management is collaboration between Encompass Community Supports and the RTC Mobility Center to assist individuals in finding suitable transportation. Our Mobility Specialists staff the One-Call center located at the Culpeper Senior Center where individuals can get more information on transportation types, find out where trolleys and busses drop off and pick up, get assistance scheduling trips and our specialists will even ride with them to help riders become more comfortable with public transportation. There is no fee for the service. The telephone number is 540-829-5300. The volunteer transportation program is also available to individuals 60 or older or people with a disability. Volunteers transport them to healthcare or legal appointments. Donations are accepted and encouraged. ACCESSIBILITY: Fully accessible to persons with disabilities.

Danville Senior Transportation is offered to Danville residents, age (60+) curb-to-curb, and often door-to-door service, for those who are in need of transportation. Transportation - Cedar Bluff, Four County Transit, Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens

Anyone of any age can ride Four County Transit's public routes. A fully coordinated public transit system serving the residents of Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell, and Tazewell counties. Has a fleet of 63 vehicles, including vans, buses, and trolleys. All vehicles purchased since 2003 have wheelchair lifts. Hampton Roads Transit Paratransit services are available to certified passengers. To become certified, call toll free at (877) ADA-RIDE (1-877-232-7433) and request an eligibility application. Once certified, you can schedule a ride by calling 757-455-8010 and TDD 757-244-2309.Reservation hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Reservations must be made no later than 5:00 PM the day before you need transportation and you can reserve a ride up to 7 days in advance. Restrictions may apply for additional passengers and carry-on items. The current fare for Paratransit is $3.50 per trip.

Fixed route services are available to the general public. Offers deviated fixed route bus transportation on a set route to anyone in Buena Vista City, Lexington City, or Rockbridge County, Virginia. Customers must wait at the bus stop for pick up. Accessible transportation for people with functional disabilities is available upon request with a completed and approved Americans with Disabilities Act Paratransit Eligibility application prior to transport.
